  1. There's a few in there I'm really looking forward to, particularly the Kathleen Edwards given the shift in direction and on the strength of the tracks I've heard to far.

It will be interesting to see what releases The Boss puts out given it's 30 years since Nebraska, the fabled Electric version maybe.

  3. Hey Chris,

Thanks for list. My friend wants to go with me to the local vinyl shop Saturday because he says that I am up on all the current music, so I am using your list as a crib sheet. :)
I have been anticipating the album Busting Visions by Zeus for a few months now after hearing the first single on NPR. http://themusicofzeus.com/index2.php#bustingvisions
Zeus is a Toronto band and if when you see this album cover you are reminded of The Best of the Guess Who well the music is reminiscent of that time and style. I just listened to this today and this album is a refreshing blend of 70's rock influences with Indie music. There is lots of great southern style electric guitar and screaming vocal showmanship - very well produced. Influences like lynyrd skynyrd and Queen come to mind; if you can imagine those 2 styles well blended together. Let me know if you check it out.
